Off to a new adventure

The Ranch is moving to Elkridge.

Stop! I said Stop! No gasps or shaking heads from you, I say. Do not feel sorry or pity. This is what is next for our family. Paul and I both believe it is the best thing to do for our family.
Pro's: Michaela and Trey will still be at the same JR High
We will fit in this new house much better
We will not be on a busy road (big concern with the twinners walking now)
The kids will go to a high school that is new when the time comes
The kids will be able to ride bikes around the neighborhood
Automatic dishwasher
Various other pro's
Con's: We will miss our friends at church
Horses won't be in backyard
Bigger house to clean

Pro's by far outweigh the con's.
We have started to move our trash heaps over to the new house. Hopefully this process will go smoothly. I hope the kids are resilient enough to transition to a new school and house at the same time. I'll get some pictures in the upcoming week to post. . .

Well, you may as well be in Elkridge already. Since the ward split it's almost like Brookside 1 is on the other side of the earth!

I'm so happy that you get to have a bigger house that will fit you better, that the kids can play in front of, and where you have an auto dishwasher.

Hip, Hip, Hooray! Congrats!

Wow, Rach, you never cease to amaze me! You have a such a great attitude about life. I'm glad it will be mostly good for you family. I only wish we were there to help move boxes! Ok, Mike would be doing it, but I could watch babies! Good luck!

I'm glad that this will be a good move for you. I'm just a little sad for you that you won't have your horses right there. I know you have loved being able to look out the back window and see them. Sounds like the new place will be really great! Are you any closer to us?

Rachel, Good luck with the move. We will be in Seattle in September and there are plans to see Aunt Karma Jean and other familly members. I can't wait to see them. Your blog is wonderful and I love reading it. Love Cousin Chris Kitchen

Um...did you say Elkridge.
The great thing about having many kids is that they all can help out with cleaning the new Nelson Mansion. Good luck with the move.
